Preparing For Birth is an interactive three class series, covering all the necessary information to make you feel knowledgeable and empowered in labor, birth, and the immediate postpartum.
Topics include; third trimester, stages of labor, pain management, comfort measures, and more. Class is a one-on-one format and can be done in person or virtually.
Breastfeeding 101 is an in depth class that includes the topics of; anatomy, physiology of lactation, latching and positioning, common challenges, pumping, and how to incorporate the partner into the process. This class is aimed to get you started on a path to success. This one-one class can be done virtually or in person.
Caring For The Newborn is an interactive, hands on class best done in person. We will cover topics such as; diapering, dressing baby, feeding, bathing, and more.
Caring For The Birth Giver is a digital class available for purchase. The class is done at your own pace and covers aspects of postpartum including; emotions, healing, and the transition to parenthood. Non-medical lactation assistance to support your feeding goals.
In home visits are scheduled following complimentary consultation . They are designed to offer non-medical assistance and education with topics such as; proper latch or positioning, as well as offer emotional support to encourage your journey. Any medical concerns will be referred to your physician or IBCLC. (2 hours)
Virtual support is a great way to connect with a professional to check in and discuss how your breastfeeding journey is going.
Support will be scheduled following a complimentary consultation. Available in 30 min-2 hour increments per call. An emailed summary will be included following the session.

In home postpartum support is customized to fit the needs of each family. Research shows that new parents who have support in the early days have an easier transition into their new role. Postpartum doulas prioritize the needs of the birth giver and baby dyad. They also assist with household chores and organization. A minimum of 4 hours per shift is required.
This option is great for those who are looking for support in a flexible format. Sessions can be purchased in hourly increments and used in 30 minutes to 2 hour calls.
This is a perfect way to have a support system in place to discuss your birth experience, the identity shift that occurs following birth, and have access to a professional who is trained to answer your questions and provide you with resources.

The Peaceful Beginnings Weekly Check-In For Parents group is ideal for new parents or expecting parents, who are looking to find connections with those in the same stage of the parenting journey.
These virtual meetings will have topics of discussion each week and allow time for open ended conversation.
